Segment 1: The Sustainability of U.S. Soybean Farming
This lead segment from episode 7 features a look at a Kansas soybean farmers’ efforts to maintain the most sustainable operation possible and how that sustainability helps ensure U.S. soybean farmers continue to provide food, feed and fuel for generations to come. Guest panelist Mary Lou Smith, a USB director and soybean farmer from Mich. and member of USB’s Sustainability Initiative Leadership Team, and Dan Towery with the Conservation Technology Information Center continue to the discussion with host Al Pell.
